adoption party

we had an adoption party on Sat, which rocked! my house was packed and there were cars all the way down the street. It was wonderful to feel all that love and support! It is slowly sinking in that Ruby is ours FOREVER...
It is a great feeling to know we don't have to deal with CPS ever again if we don't want to. However we have batted back and forth the idea of continuing to foster (babies only) for this pregnancy. we will see!

i am considering making my blog public again. i find i have way less motivation to post knowing that a large percentage of my readership can't read my blog. i haven't had a visitor from my blog-stalker in a few weeks and i have no teens in my house to be concerned about....what do you guys think???

Finally,I have been trying to get on your blog for a while,as well as my own.urgh!Something about google is blocking me.We totally feel the same, like shes ours forever, really? Its feels very strange yet wonderful. We have decided to stay on since we are current on all our paperwork, when we get close to expiring we may change our mind, and not bother with it.But we still have such a heart for kids.Your pregnant, and have a brood,so for you the situation is very different from mine, with having one little one and one who is almost a legal adult.

Hope your doing well, have you had any morning sickness?Any new placements? Whats the amount of children they will allow in your home?We can have 5.

no new placements, morning sickness finally easing... as far as number of kids we can have 6 to be a normal home , if we have morewe have to have a group liscense again. but group liscense homes can't be placed with children under age 5..sooo we can only take short term baby placements since after our baby is born we will have too many kids to have a baby placement.
