shopping trip for the month of march

i shop four times in the month, onnce a month at HEB, once at Costco, and twice at whole foods-
this is from my march Heb run- total for trip $300- including household items- ill let you guys know how much i spent on food once i do my other stores!

cheak thief !!!

last year, someone stole my wallet from my van, parked right in front of my house. i canceled my cards, got a new drivers licsense, stopped payment on my checks and had an officer come dust for prints, now fast forward 6 months.. did you know stop payments are only valid for 6 months? apparently thieves do..sigh
so today i go look at my account to see a check written for 500$, written by who knows who to come other person "for rent".
i think steam came out of my ears!
i had to use my precious babysitter time today to fill out fraud paperwork at my bank.
now i have to re-stop my checks every six months FOREVER, or until the cops find my checks....
sigh-
lesson learned:
DO NOT LEAVE YOUR WALLET (ACCIDENTALLY EVEN) IN YOUR CAR>>>EVER !!!!

dinner of the day!

last night i decided , wouldn't it be interesting to post photos of our dinner every night? -
so here is last night's dinner-
baked potato , and baby spinach and cauliflower salad- all organic!

met sweetpea's caseworker today- things arn't looking as much like adoption (for us) as i had hoped. she said paternal grama is interested. So, they will do background checks and then a homestudy. Birthdad also has a lawyer- also not good. AND, although they told me that Birthmom had had rights terminted on a previous child, i am now being told this isn't true! one of her older daughters is still in a foster/relative placement and the other daughter she knows nothing about???
sigh. I will just love, snuggle and enjoy her for as long as i am blessed to have her!

sweetpea has her first cold, poor baby! she is stuffed up with a little bit of coughing. and looks like sebastian is going to get tubes in his ears.
i don't have much interesting to say, since all i have been doing is wiping snotty noses, rocking fussy babies, and going to dr appointments!!!

yesterday

i was sick as a dog-
i think i have a sinus infection- hopeful since the fever broke i won't need to go to the dr. ??
it is so hard to be sick- i have too many kids to be sick! it was a truly depressing day.sigh....

i am behind in posting, as i am behind in everything! lol
i have decided to go on a (mostly) cash basis from now on to try and save money. that bank card does us in every time. it's too easy and not as accountable as cash.
kiryn is going to florida for a week in march! he is leaving the day before my birthday, so my birthday present will be no fighting boys..lol
Sweet Pea is doing great, growing and being cute.
Sebastian is over his ear infection, but appears to be cutting a few teeth. so he asks constantly for "mama mi?"

an ex friend's day in the life

anyhow, it is great reading, witty as she always was. but after reading it and listening to her gripe, i think of my days= i have 5 under 8!
i can barely string together coherant sentances, much less chronicle my whole day..
this from the lady who told me she didnt have time to give me copies of all the video she has of my oldes..did i mention this is the ONLY video that exsists of him before 5?

on monday the kids painted a box fort, and painted themselves more- i didn't get a pict of the them, but as i was feeding the baby Lucca comes running in shouting "look at me, look at me!!!" and i am shout "no! go back out side! " (She is covered from head to toe in black paint. the she trips and falls SPLAT to the ground. i got a pict after i finished feeding sweetpea-lol
