knottedfingers- yes please share- but i am going to post the fixed version once it uploads (30 min or so) this one ha a few bugs! so check back in an hour :)
Hearing Aquila's story always leaves me shaking with grief and so so angry. She is absolutely stunning and beautiful, and that video is beautiful. I find it absolutely reprehensible that Faith is still practicing, and that the homebirth community hasn't offered you more support. Sending you a lot of love, Liz. I know this must have been incredibly difficult video to make.
I have been following your story for many months, Liz, and this video is stunning. I have read your story over and over and I am still shocked that anyone could hear your story and see your pain and continue to support homebirth or DEM's, and I am incredulous by some of the comments you have received. I know there is nothing that will make this better for you, Liz, and I pray you will feel the arms of the Father around you. I am sure that Aquila's story is saving the lives of other babies whose mothers have been changed profoundly by your story. I am so, so sorry, Liz.
I just stumbled across your blog (from your comment at Rightthinker http://andreamomm.blogspot.com/2010/06/defense-of-homebirth-today-was.html) and am heart-broken for you! I can't imagine the horrors you've gone through and can only pray for healing and peace for you!
Although I am a homebirth advocate myself, and wish more ladies knew that it was a (safe) option with the right care and midwife, I *sincerely* thank you for your efforts to bring midwifery up to a higher standard, and to help educate mothers in how and who they choose to assist them through such an important event!
