if you have somehow managed to find this (aunt who lives in my state, you know who you are ) -here is me waving and telling you to leave.
sigh my friend is drumming up more drama and sent my blog to her aunt (i know from sitemeter someone was searching for specific things in a specific area) to try to drum up more drama. apparently because i mentioned her LAST year without anything super identifying, the sister feels like she should spread it all around.. so i am not sure how effective my PRIVATE blog is? i think she found most of the info RIGHT BEFORE (hours) i set it to private. this is REALLLLLLYYYYYY frustrating. i want her to leave me alone. no good deed goes unpunished, right?
hopefully the casa , new caseworker (old one quitting next week), and GAL can come up with what is best for Dancer. i have my opinion of course, but i know that #1 i may not be right and #2 it may not matter because CPS dosn't always do the right thing - two points no one else in the situation seems to get.

ruby trying to walk and flooring
and all the privacy
sigh... it has been a hard two weeks, filled with drama!
first i have a relative who has taken to being overley intrusive and judgemental over the things i post in my blog and on my facebook (ie. my life). Even though she hasn't seen me in 2 years, she assumes she knows everything about me and of course everything i am doing wrong. she has it so far off it isn't even funny.
Then to top that off we had major drama via my new placement. she is wonderful, perfect and the sweetest 12 year old you ever met, but there is drama in other ways. she is my very close friend's sister. i have known them both for years. the sister wanted her to be here, because she could not take her for several reasons.then a few days before placement she flips on me, demanding i never ever post about her sister (despite the lack of names pictures ect) i refused, though i did offer to work with her on what i would or wouldnt post. then she decided she didnt want me to take her at all, the night before she needed to be placed, (where she thought she should go right then i have no idea). Dancer was fine with being on my blog, and was reading my blog already!. but now a week later the sister had been talking to Dancer, telling her a million reasons why she should NOT be on my blog , and also personal stuff about me, not in a favorable light. Now sister has decided that Dancer should be placed in her home, like tomorrow and wants me to make that happen! Dancer dosnt want to bounce around (understandably!) and certainly dosnt want to move right now. there is no way i am going to advocate for something that is not want my foster child wants, and that i dont belive is in her best interests (right now) all the issues that made sister not want to take her before are still there. i have seen too many relative placements fall through because of a relative who really should not have been taking more onto their plate.
So now here we are, waiting to see what CPS will do, if they will move her yet again...
on Ruby's note, we met her ADOPOTION WORKER yesterday, praise the Lord! she said in one month the 90 days for relatives to come out of the woodwork will be over then her status will change to an adoptive placement. we will then get a homestudy update and then we can ADOPT!!!
Our house is still a disaster, allthoguh flooring upstairs is being installed yesterday and today. we are still getting estimates for the bathroom rebuild. and our downstairs floor will be installed after april 1st.

The dancer
f
my 12 year old got here Sunday night, and has picked her own pen name. she is Dancer, which is quite suited to her seeing as she is always dancing and singing. She brings music into everything, it's great!
our first day out (mon) we went to Walmart to pick up a few things and we had quite the fiasco. Dancer wore her firend's heelys and tried to turn a corner and well...missed. she fell on her ankle and sprained it. Walmart freaked out (assuming we were going to sue or something), and we got her a wheelchair to get her out to the car. now she is on crutches or hopping. my husband says it is like having a kangaroo living in the house, HOP HOP HOP.. lol
But everything is going well. Mama is out of town for spring break and i am starting to really miss her. she is alot of fun to talk to.
We will be changing Sweetpea's birth name when we adopt. So, we have started calling her by the name we will change it to, which is Ruby. So, from now on she is Ruby on here too!

well i am a year older (turned 28 on thursday!) ,and my house is still destroyed but i am more used to it. things are going well with Mama and baby. she has settled down and has been *gasp* helping around the house and coming home on time. LOVE that! I really enjoy her when she is not yelling at me , lol.
We will probably have our new kiddo on Mon. she is 12 and i dont have a pen name for her yet...hmmmm
Things are actually looking really good today. funny thing is things looked SO bad one week ago. PRAISE THE LORD!!
this has been the verse i have been reading and re reading and cling to.
Psalm 40 :1-3
I waited patiently for the Lord,
he inclined to me and heard my cry.
He drew me up from the pit of destruction,
out of the miry bog,
and set my feet upon a rock,
making my steps secure.
He put a new song in my heart,
a song of praise to our God,
many will see and fear
and put thier trust in the Lord
