rusty- from what i understand , they took on a foster baby-which how i understand it prevents you from adopting internationally. i don't know 100% but i am very very heartbroken for this child.
My goodness, my heart just breaks for her. I hope she finds a family deserving of her very soon.
(to think of a little girl without a family, when my little girl couldn't stay...where is the justice in the world? )

jeanette- i am thinking the same thoughts as you. this sweet little girl was born a few weeks after Aquila. and i just can't wrap my head around how she sits, unloved and unwanted and i had to bury my very loved and very wanted child.
She stole my heart, as well, Liz!
We have been supporting a little guy from Reece's Rainbow.
My heart is so heavy for these beautiful children.
My heart is also incredibly angry for the hearts broken and grieving that the governments of this world have on their hands...on their hands from their beaurocratic crap that keeps loving parents from adopting children.
They (not Reece's Rainbow..I mean legislation on adoption worldwide and in the states) are essentially selling children, and it makes me sick. Any couple who can prove they are stable and can pass a background check should be allowed to adopt children and raise them with love, for a nominal fee..but that just wouldn't be very profitable, now would it. GRR..

Liz, did you see that Reece's Rainbow posted that Maeve has been taken home by her bio family? I hope all is well with her.
Julia- yes! i saw that! isn't it wonderful? i am so glad she is out of the ophanage :)
