Oh Liz.
These are stunningly beautiful.

Have you come across Still Life 365 (there's a link on my blog)? It's a site set up by a babylost mother to host submissions by other bereaved parents. A way of using our creativity to process our grief.

Your work is amazing.

Dearest daughter,

I am amazed by your thought provoking art work. I am so happy you reached out to the tools an have been using to ease xome of the pain, or to soften the blow. You have always been so strong and determined. Just let me know if you need me.
What a talented artist you are, and I have always admired your strength, dedicated purpose, and love that you share with those around you.

You are right, when Annabelle (abruption at 39 weeks) was lost to me- before you were born- I had such a hole in my life, and a hard road to walk; but you changed all of it from the moment I knew you were there. You were not a 'replacement' but a fine, strong, and beautiful bandaid on my heart that soothed the pain, softened all the hard edges I was tip-toeing through, and brought hope back into my heart.

Every day is so prescious, Call me anytime, Call to yell, call when you need a break, just call. I will always make the time for you, Gabe, and my sweet grans!
I love you buckets and buckets of kisses, Love Mom
